The Ragnar Relay is a relay race that stretches from Logan to Park City, over three mountain passes and almost 200 miles. This race is an important part of our community as several parents from our clinic started a team: If My Kid Can Fight Cancer, I Can Run Ragnar. Tony Aguilar, a member of this team (our team), requested photos of as many of "our" kids as possible. He ran in honor of all of them. The back of his pack is covered with kids fighting the good fight, and if you look closely, you will see Nico right under the Camelbak logo. The front of his pack included Millie and other sweeties that have left their sick bodies behind. I am very touched and inspired by the parents that participate in Ragnar. Since Nico was diagnosed, it has been hard to find the time to do anything but be a care-giver. But these parents run FOR their children, as a way to honor their fight. This is a new and beautiful way of looking at it, and I want to adopt this view. It is healthier and more positive way to cope. Thank you, Tony and thank you team.
